Ember & Root Tonic - Wildhaven Fire Cider

Ember & Root Tonic

Wildhaven Fire Cider with Raw Honey

8 oz & 4 oz amber glass

There is something ancient about fire cider. Sharp roots. Pungent bulbs. Citrus brightness. Vinegar bite. And the slow sweetness of raw honey to carry it all. Ember & Root Tonic is Wildhaven Hills’ small-batch fire cider, crafted with organic roots and herbs and finished with local, raw, unpasteurized honey.

We make this once a year only, using fresh, organic ingredients and steeped slowly over a minimum of 6 weeks to draw out the full character of:

  • Onion

  • Garlic

  • Horseradish root

  • Ginger root

  • Turmeric root

  • Lemon

  • Rosemary

  • Black pepper

  • Cayenne

  • Apple cider vinegar

  • Local raw honey

Bold, warming, and unapologetically potent.  Traditionally enjoyed during the colder months, fire cider has long been used as a kitchen tonic to support vitality and seasonal resilience.

We bottle ours in dark amber glass to protect its integrity and flavour.

How to Use

Take 1 tablespoon daily, or as needed. Can be enjoyed straight, diluted in warm water, or used as a vibrant salad dressing base. Shake gently before use. Natural sediment may occur.

Crafted at Wildhaven Hills

Made in small batches near Derwent, Alberta using thoughtfully sourced and organic ingredients whenever possible.

No fillers. No shortcuts. Just roots, spice, vinegar, honey, and time. Watch us make it.

      Fantastic!! Kicks bugs right away

I was sceptical of fire cider before I tried this. But it immediately stopped a flu in its tracks for our family- those who just had a sore throat got no sicker and the ones who were already coughing up a lung started getting better right away. I’m sold! I’ll be stocking this every year.
